Privacy policy
What we keep about you, why, for how long — and why this site has no cookies.
Who is responsible
Happy Sips (CVR 39475677), Vangede Bygade 77, 2820 Gentofte, is the data controller for this site and the Skjold Burne shop. Write to hello@sipotek.dk with any question about your details.
No cookies
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device to recognise you. The only thing your browser keeps is your basket, so it is still there when you come back. It stays on your own device and only reaches us when you reserve.
Visit statistics
We count visits with Umami, which we run ourselves on our own server in Germany. No other company receives the data. Umami uses no cookies and no other storage on your device. To count unique visits it briefly uses your IP address and browser details to form an anonymous code that changes every day, and to look up your country. The IP address itself is not stored.
We see which pages are visited, where the visit came from, the country, the type of device, and actions such as "add to basket" and "sign up" — never who you are, and never what you type into a form. The statistics are kept for 24 months. If your browser sends "Do Not Track", we do not count you.
Basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Short links and QR codes
Links and QR codes on go.sipotek.dk are counted the same way, without storing your IP address. When the link leads here, the address carries a tag (utm_…), so we can see which link or QR code brought you.
Reservations and gift baskets
When you reserve, we keep your name, your contact (email or phone), any note, the items and the pickup time. We use them to prepare your order and hand it over. The shop receives the reservation by email through Brevo, our email provider.
Name, contact and note are deleted 90 days after the pickup day. At the same time the reservation's email in the shop's inbox is moved to the trash automatically, which is emptied after 30 days. What was ordered we keep without any personal data, for our own statistics.
If you tick the news box, you go on our newsletter list (see News below). It needs an email.
Basis: carrying out your reservation (Article 6(1)(b)) and, for news, your consent (Article 6(1)(a)).
Events
When you sign up for an event, we keep your name, email, phone and number of guests to run the event and contact you about it. Confirmations are sent through Brevo. The details are deleted 90 days after the event, and the shop's emails about your sign-up are moved to the trash at the same time, which is emptied after 30 days.
You only get news if you tick the box (see News below).
Basis: your sign-up (Article 6(1)(b)) and, for news, your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
News
If you tick the news box when you sign up for an event or reserve, we keep your name, your email and, if you gave it, your phone number in our database and on our newsletter list at Brevo. We also keep when and where you said yes.
They stay until you unsubscribe. They are not deleted after 90 days, because they are exactly what you asked us to use. Every unsubscribe link removes you both at Brevo and from our database.
Basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Server logs
Our server does not log your IP address when you visit. For operations we keep, for 14 days, which addresses were requested, when, by which type of browser, and whether it worked. If something goes wrong, a technical error log can contain your IP address. Error logs are overwritten continuously and used only to fix the fault.
Fonts and other services
The fonts are served from our own server, and the page loads nothing from other companies while you read it. Links to Instagram, Facebook and the Danish food-safety smiley scheme only open their pages when you click them.
Who processes data for us
Contabo (Germany) runs the server the site and the statistics run on. Brevo (France) sends our emails and holds the newsletter list. Both are data processors for us, and the data stays in the EU.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, to restrict or object to our use of them, and to receive them. Write to us at the address above. If you are unhappy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.dk).
